Because of my distrust of doctors, I waited years to go to the doctor for my seizures. I know who does this? Young dumb people who grew up with the viewpoint that doctors should not be trusted. Did I mention my mom also has a distain for the healthcare system. I went years having a seizure (grand mal) every month. So, I also wonder if this could be why I have no voice. I hold my breath when I seize, and I pass out, could the connection be lost. I know you are thinking, maybe I could have led with this one. Well, my doctor said, “maybe but we don’t know.” Ahhh This is my silent scream in frustration.

I need a new doctor.
